The First Step to a Holiday of a Lifetime

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is a vital aspect of booking a holiday, giving you protection against unforeseen circumstances that could otherwise spoil your holiday. It is important that at the time of booking you purchase travel insurance that properly covers your participation in whatever activities, such as motorcycling, that you may undertake. This is NOT to be confused with motorcycle insurance, which is completely separate.

At H-C Travel we take insurance seriously, and we believe it is our responsibility to provide you, our customer, with high quality travel insurance. So, rather than just recommend someone who will pay us commission, as so many websites do, we have our own travel insurance policy underwritten with your requirements in mind. By insuring through us, you KNOW you are covered for motorcycling anywhere in the World. MOST widely available policies will not cover you on adventure, offroad or large capacity motorcycles. And even if you are not travelling with us (why not?!), our insurance is still available to you..INS -2

Highlights

  • Specifically underwritten for H-C Travel
  • Includes additional cover for riding gear and helmets
  • Covers riders and passengers aged 18-75 yrs, and children (conditions apply)
  • Helmets must be worn
  • Includes offroad and adventure cover if on an organised and licensed tour and on a registered road legal motorcycle
  • UK or EU unrestricted license required
  • No engine capacity restriction

  • New for 2011 – more activities covered as standard
  • Hazardous activities cover available

Below is a summary of the cover provided by our insurance. Our policy booklet is available as a PDF download by clicking here. You will need a copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader to view or print the booklet. If you do not have this installed, you can download from the Adobe Web site.

All prices include 20.00% Insurance Premium Tax (IPT), and are subject to change if the tax rate changes.

If you cannot find cover for any particular activity, please contact us and we will discuss it with our underwriter.

If our policy does not meet your requirements, you have 14 days from the date of issue to return the policy and receive a full refund, providing you have not travelled or made a claim.

Before taking out insurance, please consider these questions:

Do you, your travelling companions, immediate family or business associates:

  • Have any pre-existing medical conditions?
  • Know of any reason why the journey is likely to be cancelled or cut short?
  • Waiting for any hospital consultation, operation or treatment or been admitted to a hospital overnight in the last 12 months (other than regular check-ups)?

If the answer is yes to any of these questions, please call our Healthcheck line on 0845 408 0585.

H-C Travel Ltd is an Appointed Representative of Travel & General Insurance Co. Plc. Both companies are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Agency.
