USA Trike Rentals

On behalf of the whole group, we'd like to say we had a fantastic time ...the trikes were absolutely brilliant (one Harley and three Goldwing trikes). As bikers and all of us used to being on two wheels, we were a bit wary of doing the trike thing, but throughout the whole holiday, everyone said how comfortable and easy they were - the luggage space was great, and  it was easy for the women to ride too so overall, definitely would recommend the trikes... and all the advice you gave us, was much appreciated and very useful throughout the holiday.

Subject to availability and early booking, we will try and arrange for a trike pick up at any motorcycle rental location (see our motorcycle rental pages for a list). All such bookings are on a request basis only and the relevant delivery fee will be in addition to the rental price. Delivery fees are typically double the one-way fee from Las Vegas or Orlando.

Our all-inclusive rate, offered exclusively by H-C Travel, is a prepayable rate which includes any and all taxes, the highest levels of trike insurance cover available and 200 miles/day (you pay for any additional miles locally at the end of your rental, at $0.39/mile + tax). You can then rest assured that you will have no further charges to pay locally, except for your refundable security/damage deposit.

Public Holidays

Rental stations are closed for US public holidays in 2011: 01 Jan, 24 Apr, 30 May, 04 Jul, 05 Sep, 24 Nov, 25 Dec.

Groups

We are more than happy to cater for groups of any size. Rent 5 or more trikes and we’ll give you a 5% discount.

How to book your trike in 5 easy steps

1. Select your required pick-up and drop-off locations.
2. Select your choice of trike.
3. Select your rental dates – rentals typically start at 9-10 am and finish at 9-10 am unless you specify otherwise. You cannot pick up your trike on the day you arrive in the USA.
4. Book online, by email or by phone with just a £250 deposit.
5. Ask H-C Travel to check for best available flight prices (do NOT book your flights before we have confirmed your trike – there are more seats on planes than trikes for hire and we do run out!), and pre- and/or post-tour accommodation.

Models available

Trike – Harley-Davidson Electraglide Classic
Fun, two seater trike based on the Electraglide Classic. Harley-Davidson’s first trike since 1973. Comes with factory topbox and 5.7 cu ft trunk. Crash helmets compulsory.

Trike – Honda Goldwing
And if you want even more power and luxury, we also offer a Champion trike based on the GL1800. Comes with factory topbox and boot / trunk. Crash helmets compulsory.

Trike Rental Terms and Conditions

All models are 2010-12

Included: CDW and theft insurance (excess $1000); SLI ($1 million); 200 miles/day, with additional miles charged locally at $0.39/mile + tax; flat tyre cover (tow charges excluded); breakdown protection (to $75/day), taxes, environmental surcharge; airport/city hotel transfer within 7-mile radius of location for all rentals over 3 days; helmets (on request); saddle bags/panniers; locks; luggage storage

Optional: Garmin Zumo 550 GPS, £11/day

Not included: Rally surcharges: £37/day and minimum hire for the following events and dates in these locations:

Daytona Bike Week, 6 days minimum, 09-18/03/12 from all Florida locations
Laughlin River Run, 4 days minimum, 25-29/04/12 from Las Vegas
Rolling Thunder, 3 days minimum, 25-28/05/12 from Washington DC
Sturgis, 6 days minimum, 06-12/08/12 from Salt Lake City
Biketoberfest, 4 days minimum, 18-21/10/11 from all Florida locations

Restrictions: Non-public and gravel roads, beaches, Mexico. EVIP insurance is invalid in Death Valley during June – August (all other insurances remain valid).

Minimum hire: 1 day

Deposit: $300 (refundable, to pay on pick up)

One-ways: On request only and only to or from any other trike location. Expect to pay double the standard motorcycle one way fee. Please see our one way table in the Motorcycle Rental section for prices.

Office hours: 09.00-17.00 daily

Public holidays: All locations are closed for the following US public holidays in 2012: 01 Jan, 08 Apr, 28 May, 04 Jul, 03 Sep, 22 Nov, 25 Dec.

Age/license: 21 yrs; full UK or national trike license. If you can’t ride a trike legally at home then you can’t ride a trike legally in the USA. And you must have experience of riding trikes or motorbikes.
